Are you ready?

An 8-Week Cohort Designed With You In Mind

Focused on your unique talent footprint

These eight weeks are all about helping you dive deeper into your own personal talents, building a better understanding of not only who you are but how to bring the best of you to the challenges you face. Each week will build on the last, revealing new ways to think about and own your unique talents.

90 minute weekly sessions in a Small group setting

Think of this as life coaching + strengths coaching + group coaching, with 8-12 seasoned spouse battle buddies. You'll be sharing, learning, and laughing; let's be honest, there will probably be tears at some point. Sessions will be recorded because we know life happens but benefiting from the program means showing up - for yourself.

Custom Curriculum for Seasoned spouses

This program doesn't exist anywhere else, it was designed based on feedback from prior Pride & Grit events. Its singular goal is to support you - our seasoned military spouse friend - in your identity and strengths journey. In addition to strengths work, we'll integrate topics like values and goals, but we'll do so with a transition lens, whether that transition is yet another move or retirement.

Making an investment in you and your journey

This is an opportunity to invest in your personal development. Thanks to support from our community sponsor, USAA, we can offer this program at a deeply discounted rate of $450. The value of this inaugural cohort exceeds $1500.

Your Cohort Outcomes

Build Personal Connections

A small group setting as well as weekly breakout sessions fosters close connections. Our goal for you is to leave this cohort with a battle buddy (or 12) for the next season of military life.

Refine Your Self Talk

If we don’t understand why we interact and respond the way we do, negative self talk can grow roots. Acknowledging your talent weaknesses can provide space for self-compassion.

Expand Your Self Awareness

Whether new to strengths or a strengths pro, through this cohort you’ll learn to celebrate your talents at their best and learn to notice when they’re holding you back.

Embrace Your Talent Footprint

Learn why you truly are “one in a million” based on your unique combination of talents. Owning your talent footprint means knowing when and how to lean into the best of who you are.

Increase Your Confidence

Confidence can suffer when we aren’t clear on who we are, what we value, and what we want from the next chapter of life. It can also suffer when we don’t celebrate our uniqueness. This cohort and strengths work can unlock personal clarity and confidence.

Develop a New Language

Leaning on your cohort members, you’ll have an opportunity to develop an entirely new language for who you are and how you show up in your life and the lives of others.

Cohort, noun: A group of people who share a common bond

Mark Your Calendars!

Virtual cohort begins Wednesday, March 8th, and runs each Wednesday from 12-13:30 ET through the week of May 8th*.

Sessions will pause on March 29th and April 5th to support during Spring Break travels and commitments.

What is a Strengths-Rooted Experience?

STRENGTH, noun: character traits or skills that are considered positive:

For this cohort, being a strengths-rooted experience means that we’ll use Gallup’s CliftonStrengths Assessment as a foundation-building element for your journey. After taking the assessment, you’ll receive a comprehensive and customized report on your unique talents. Each week we’ll peel back a new layer and build a new understanding of how your talents show up in the world and how you can call on them when facing challenges. We’ll talk about how your talents can serve you in the next season of life, beyond service.

This is perfect for me!

This isn't right for me.

An opportunity to develop connections with seasoned military spouses. harness your unique talent footprint. define your values and goals for the next chapter.  receive 1:1 strengths coaching.  celebrate who you are and what you bring to the world.

You have questions.
We have answers.

Your first step, after deciding that you’re excited for this opportunity, is to complete the short application.

The intent of the application is to help us create a cohort with members who report similarities in their season of life, challenges, military life timeline, and even strengths experience. We’re also using the application to identify the day of the week that works best for cohort members.

No payment is required unless you are invited to join the cohort.

No payment is required until you’ve been selected for the cohort. At that time, you’ll have one week to provide payment before your seat is opened to other interested attendees.

If invited to join the cohort but your availability or interest has changed, you may release your cohort seat anytime before the payment due date. Once the cohort has begun, refunds are not possible.

We’d like to think so.

First, the Evolve retreat’s Strengths Workshop included dozens of attendees and moved at a fast pace. This effort will be more intimate and move at a slower pace, giving you time to ask questions as you go and learn from other attendees.

The curriculum for the cohort far exceeds any of the discussions had during the Evolve retreat.

Strengths work is iterative, meaning everytime you open the book on your strengths you’ll likely find new ways to apply your talents to your current struggles. We believe even if you attended the Evolve Strengths workshops you can find new value in this effort and the connections you’ll form.

The current cohort runs the week of March 6th through May 8th . If requested by our selected cohort members, we will pause for up to two weeks to accommodate Spring Break conflicts.

Cohort sessions will occur the same date and time each week. Your preferences for the three date/time options will be noted in your application.

    ‣Wednesday 12-1:30 pm ET
    ‣Thursdays 8-9:30 pm ET
    ‣Saturdays 10-11:30 am ET

We will be using a tool called AirMeet. This tools was used at our 2022 Evolve Retreat and received high praise from our attendees. It is designing for training and learning, incorporating features that help you feel connected to fellow cohort members.

A great wifi connection and a computer or tablet is all you need for a great experience.

Yes and no. Portions of each session, when we are gathered together at one virtual table, will be accessible for 6 days after the session. This will allow you to get caught up before the next session. Any discussions that happen in breakout rooms will not be available on-demand.

The cohort is intended to be a personal, hand-on experience, so please do not apply if you know you’ll need to miss multiple sessions. Instead, we encourage you to join our newsletter community and be notified when another cohort is offered.

While we’d never prevent a new spouse from applying, the discussions and learnings will resonate most with those living in their final season of military life – whether that is 2 months or 5 years. It’s an event dedicated to seasoned military spouses. If you’re not at least a little weathered, this probably isn’t the event for you.

Yes! We know that programming to support your journey is lacking. We welcome your insights to the retirement and transition process and look forward to helping you gain the insights needed for your current season. Maybe we’ll have a cohort of all veteran spouses, wouldn’t that be amazing!?

As part of the cohort, you’ll have an opportunity to schedule a one-on-one 50 minute coaching session with a certified strengths coach. This session can be scheduled before, during, or in the 60 days after the cohort ends. You’ll also receive access to prefered pricing for additional sessions.

We hope so. Let’s get this first cohort off the ground and go from there. If this isn’t the right time for you, please share this opportunity with a friend.

We’re creating a private group for cohort members. Based on member feedback, we’ll create the group on LinkedIn or Facebook.

The intent is to provide a place to share learning, ideas, wins, and challenges with those you’ve gotten to know during the cohort.

Whether this group remains active after the cohort ends will be up to the cohort members.
